Guess I need to get better at this!

I guess I need to get better about this whole blog thing. I really am never on my computer because I spend all day looking at a computer screen. Maybe I'll start writing them at work and posting them later. Haha Not much has been going on since I last posted. Had a Wells Fargo volunteer teaching event tonight, and only two kids showed up for Josh and I's class (2nd and 3rd grade groups). The lesson plan was credit and interest rates. We quickly realized that our lesson plan was wayyy to advanced for these two children who barely knew how to add and subtract. Not too sure what developments kids are supposed to be at in 2nd and 3rd grades. It was fun however, and our two kids enjoyed us hanging out with them. =]

Tomorrow is payday Friday and JC and I are going to the truck race. Super excited! =] Saturday I'm meeting an old friend for lunch. Things did not end well two years ago between us, but I'm willing to try and mend things before we move away and I don't have the chance. I don't think I will ever be able to be as close as I was with this friend, but I still think about her often, and am nervous for Saturday. We will see how it goes!

I think I only have one follower, Christy! Can't wait to see you again!!

My first blog!

So this is the life of blogging, huh? I don't really know where to start. I graduated college and now I'm at the point of my life where I'm questioning where I want my life to go. When I started working with Wachovia, I saw a huge opportunity to move up the corporate ladder. However, after about 8 months in a sales position, I'm not really sure I want to push checking accounts for the rest of my life. While I'm hitting my numbers and making good money, moving to be a banker doesn't really put my degree to use. I looked into other areas of the bank, and I think being an auditor would be fun. I would get to travel to different stores, meet different people, and have the opportunity to use my degree and eventually could make up to $150,000 a year with the more experience I would gain. Our lease is up in a few months, and I guess I will hold off on any rational decisions until I know where JC and I will be moving to. I know they say the girl should never "follow" the guy, but JC needs to go where he can get a job, and I have a better ability to get a job where ever I want to. I guess we will see! Anyways, that's all my rants for the day. I was going to go to the Bud Shootout, but I'm skipping to see some pretty awesome people who are in town! =] Have a great day every one!
